Meetup Recap: Protecting the Investment: The Property Management Playbook
A successful multifamily investment doesn’t stop at acquisition. What happens at the property level every day—from leasing and resident relations to maintenance, staffing, and expenses—can have a major impact on performance.
That was the focus of our latest Momentum Multifamily Meetup, “Protecting the Investment: The Property Management Playbook,” held Wednesday, August 26 at Sayan Construction Headquarters in Farmers Branch.
We brought together three experienced property management professionals who know the day-to-day realities of operating multifamily communities:
- Justina Fassett — Asset Living
- Jake Beck — Valiant Residential
- Kelly Stinson — Velo Residential
The panel offered an honest look at what it takes to keep communities running efficiently and performing in today’s challenging market. The conversation covered everything from leasing and resident retention to staffing, maintenance, controlling expenses, and the operational decisions that can ultimately protect—and create—value for owners and investors.
The Panel
But the value of the evening went beyond the panel itself. Attendees had plenty of opportunities to connect, exchange ideas, and build relationships with fellow multifamily investors, operators, and industry professionals.
A Packed Room of Engaged Investors
The conversations continued well after the panel, with attendees taking advantage of the relaxed networking environment to meet new people and catch up with familiar faces.
Networking and Connections
A big thank you to Justina, Jake, and Kelly for sharing their experience and practical insight, and to Sayan Construction for hosting us and helping make another Momentum Multifamily Meetup a great night.
We’re grateful to everyone who came out and continues to make these events such a valuable part of the DFW multifamily community.
We’ll see you at the next one!
